1. Introduction

This manual is published in terms of Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA) and is intended to provide guidance on how to submit access to information requests to Global Manufacturing Africa (Pty) Ltd (K2025753377).

4. How to Submit a Request (Form 2)

Submit a data subject rights request using our online form at /legal/data-request, or email Form C-PAIA-2 to [email protected].

Requests must include: requester's name, contact details, description of information sought, and reason for the request (if applicable).

5. Response Timeline

Acknowledgement: within 5 business days
Decision: within 30 days (extendable by 30 days in complex cases with notice)

6. Fees

No fee is charged for lodging a request. A prescribed fee may be charged for reproduction of records as set out in the PAIA Regulations. GMA will notify you of any applicable fee before proceeding.

7. Grounds for Refusal

Access may be refused on grounds including: third-party privacy rights, commercial confidentiality, legal professional privilege, safety of persons, or where disclosure is not in the public interest.

9. SAHRC Submission

This manual will be submitted to the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) as required by PAIA s.51(3).
