Global Manufacturing Africa today announced the commercial availability of the Aftrak AFT-e1 — Africa's first locally manufactured electric walk-behind tractor — now shipping to South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Lesotho, and Eswatini.
The Aftrak AFT-e1 electric walk-behind tractor has been selected to feature at the AgriSA Innovation Showcase — one of South Africa's most influential annual agriculture industry events — recognising it as a standout innovation in smallholder mechanisation.
GMA has been independently verified as a B-BBEE Level 1 contributor — the highest possible rating under South Africa's Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment framework — effective from February 2026.
